As I write this month’s newsletter from my home office, I’m struck by how much life has changed over the past few weeks.
I mean, none of us are getting our hair cut.
As a result, I bought my hubby a personal hair cut system for men. It is nice. It is basically a razor with a guide. You determine how long you want your hair and then hook in the appropriate guide and voila. So, one night after the system arrived, I cut my hubby’s hair. He felt that a few areas in the front needed a little more attention, and decided to take care of those himself. Unfortunately, he did that without the guardrail and is now basically bald.
The good news is that his hair will grow back, and no one is going to see it anytime soon. So the long term damage from a do it yourself haircut is basically nonexistent.
What about do it yourself HR? Lately, there are laws along with their interpretations changing every week, day and sometimes within the same day and do it yourself HR can be a dangerous proposition with very long term damages.
